OUR MISSION
The South Coastal Workforce Investment Board (SCWIB) is a federally-mandated, regional private-public partnership that has oversight responsibility and policy-making authority for federal and state workforce development activities. The Board is comprised of dedicated leaders from the business, organized labor, educational institutions, community-based organizations and state and local entities. The Board, in cooperation with Mayor Thomas P. Koch of Quincy, the Chief Elected Official, provides the strategic direction for the local workforce investment system.
Our Goal… Our goal is to develop a seamless, efficient and responsive workforce development system that is customer-based, market-driven and supports the needs of employers and job seekers to the economic benefit of both.
