The South Coastal Workforce Investment Board (SCWIB) is a federally-mandated, regional private-public partnership that has oversight
 responsibility and policy-making authority for federal and state workforce development activities. The Board is comprised of dedicated leaders
business, organized labor, educational institutions, community-based organizations and state and local entities. The Board, in cooperation with Mayor
Thomas P. Koch of Quincy, the Chief Elected Official, provides the strategic direction for the local workforce investment system.
